About

Welcome to Pandamaran Chinese Methodist Church
Pandamaran, an emerging township located in between Klang and Port Klang, was set up as a new village during the emergency period in late forties.

The mission work in Pandamaran was pioneered by two missionaries, namely Ms Olive Fynney and Ms Ruth Verhulst of the Overseas Missionary Fellowship (OMF) in 1950. Madam Tan Bee Gim, who had opted an early retirement from pastoral duties in 1949, also actively involved in the early mission work.

During the said period, the Methodist Conference in Malaysia also placed great emphasis on mission and evangelism works in the new villages. Scores of new mission fields in the new villages were taken over by the Methodist Conference from the OMF.

With the goal of building a purpose-driven church, all programs and activities of the church are planned around the 5 purposes, i.e. worship, social concern, mission, fellowship and discipleship. PCMC is now well positioned and geared towards achieving its goal for God’s glory.
