Joy to the world, the Lord has come! Indeed we rejoiced in a real Christmas spirit in the past two days.
About 50 plus of PCMC folks, the young & the old, went all out to visit kindergarten kids from non-believer families, as well as handling out Christmas invitation tracts to residents in the vicinity. We set off to our destinations with much excitement. Some trembled in the bottom of their heart as this would be their very first time to share the Christmas in this manner.
When we sang carols & handled out hampers & balloons, it melted away all skepticism & fear. Smiles were on every face. Kids of the visited family & the surrounding neighbors leap for excitement. Parents with their home setup with huge idol altar got to celebrate Christmas in their household & hearing to gospel for the first time. Many passerby stood by & even some strangers invited us to their house to share the joy. Praise the Lord!
When giving out tracts to Mamak patrons, shop keepers, hawkers & people in the street, many received us warmly. To our surprises, some Indians, foreigners & even Muslim chuckled & greeted with “Merry Christmas”. Only a certain few looked indifferent & even a bit rude. But we didn’t mind at all & we knew well we were doing it for Jesus, & we were doing it with love!
Come join us again this Saturday & Sunday, spare only an hour for Jesus, to mark this Christmas as it is supposed to be like 2000 years ago!
